First Login
This guide walks you through what to expect when you log into the Junipa Organisation Portal for the first time.
Before You Begin
You will need:
- Your organisation portal URL (e.g.,
yourorg.junipa.com.au) - Your administrator login credentials, provided by the Junipa team during onboarding
Logging In
- Open your web browser and navigate to your organisation portal URL.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click Sign In.
If your organisation has Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO configured, you may see a Sign in with Microsoft button. Click it to authenticate using your organisation's Microsoft account.
What You Will See
After logging in, you will be taken to the Organisation Dashboard. On your first login, the dashboard may appear empty because no schools have been connected yet.
The main navigation includes:
- Dashboard -- The landing page with an overview of connected schools and key metrics.
- Connected Schools -- Where you manage school connections.
- Reports -- Access to executive overviews, audit reports, and attendance data.
- Team Management -- Add and manage organisation portal users.
- Settings -- Configure general settings and terminology.
Recommended First Steps
- Review your settings -- Navigate to Settings > General to confirm your organisation name and details are correct.
- Set up terminology (optional) -- Go to Settings > Terminology to customise labels if your organisation uses specific terms.
- Connect your first school -- Navigate to Connected Schools and generate an invite code. See the connecting schools guide for step-by-step instructions.
- Add team members -- Go to Team Management to invite other staff who need access.
Troubleshooting First Login
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| "Invalid credentials" error | Double-check your email and password. If you have forgotten your password, use the password reset link on the login page. |
| Page does not load | Ensure you are using a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox). Check that *.junipa.com.au is not blocked by your network. |
| SSO button not appearing | SSO must be configured by the Junipa team. Contact support if you expected SSO to be available. |
| Blank dashboard after login | This is normal for a new account. The dashboard populates once schools are connected. |
