Organisation Portal Guide
Set up your Junipa Organisations portal, connect schools, and start monitoring student support across your network.
Prerequisites
- A Junipa Organisations instance URL (e.g.,
yourorg.junipa.com.au) - Organisation admin credentials
- At least one Junipa school instance to connect
Step 1: First Login
- Navigate to your organisation portal URL
- Sign in with your admin credentials or SSO
- You'll land on the Organisation Dashboard
See first login for detailed steps.
Step 2: Connect Your First School
Schools connect to your organisation through an invite code handshake:
Generate an Invite Code
- Go to Connected Schools in the sidebar
- Click Add School
- A unique invite code (e.g.,
ORG-XXXX-XXXX) will be generated - Share this code with the school's Junipa administrator
School Accepts the Invitation
- The school admin goes to Settings > Organisation in their Junipa instance
- They enter the invite code
- A school code (e.g.,
SCH-XXXX-XXXX) is returned - The school admin enters this back in their Junipa to complete the handshake
Once connected, student data begins syncing automatically.
See the full invite code flow documentation.
Step 3: Manage Users and Roles
Set up your organisation team:
- Go to Team Management
- Invite users by email
- Assign roles:
- Org Admin — Full access to all settings and data
- Viewer — Read-only access to reports and dashboards
Learn more about roles and permissions.
Step 4: Monitor School Health
Once schools are connected, monitor their status:
- Go to Connected Schools
- Each school shows a health indicator:
- Healthy (green) — Responding within 3 seconds
- Degraded (yellow) — Response time 3–10 seconds
- Offline (red) — No response for 10+ seconds
See school health monitoring for details.
Step 5: Review Reports
Your organisation portal aggregates data from all connected schools:
Executive Overview
The executive overview dashboard shows:
- Total students across all schools
- Adjustment category distribution
- Evidence collection trends
- School-by-school comparisons
See executive overview.
Attendance Reports
View attendance data synced from connected schools.
See attendance reporting.
Audit Reports

Step 6: Configure Settings
Customise your organisation portal:

- Go to Settings > Terminology to customise labels used across the portal
See general settings and terminology settings.
