Build a plan

Use this when a student needs a clear plan that teachers, families and support staff can read and use.

Do this

  1. Open the student record.
  2. Start a new plan or open the current draft.
  3. Add the goals, adjustments and support details that staff need to follow.
  4. Use existing evidence to keep the plan connected to what is already known.
  5. Save the plan and check the next review point.

Before you move on

  • The plan uses language a teacher can act on.
  • Adjustments are specific enough to use in class.
  • The plan has an owner or review rhythm.
